Welcome to JanataMatrimony!
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) outline the rules and regulations for using the JanataMatrimony mobile application (“App”) and website (“Website”). By downloading and accessing the App or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any subsequent updates. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the App or Website. The Mobile Application and Website are owned and operated by JMS Lifespaces Private Limited (“Company”). JanataMatrimony is a trusted brand under JMS Lifespaces Private Limited, incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, in Kalaburagi (Gulbarga), ROC Bangalore, Karnataka. The Website and Application are collectively referred to as the “platform.”
1.Acceptance of Terms: By using JanataMatrimony, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time by posting the updated Terms on the App and Website. You are advised to review the Terms periodically for updates. Your continued use of the App or Website after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2.Definitions:
- “JanataMatrimony members” or “Users” refers to individuals accessing our Website or App.
- “You” refers to the user of JanataMatrimony services.
- “JanataMatrimony members” also include persons such as Myself, Father, Mother, Brother, Sister, Relative, or a Friend (Registrant) of the prospective bride or groom.
- “Company”, “We” refers to “JanataMatrimony.”
3.The Service: To become a member, you must provide a valid email address, mobile number, choose a password, and agree to safeguard your account information. You must be at least 18 years & above for females and 21 years & above for males as per the laws of India, and legally capable of entering into contracts to use the App or Website and marry. By using our App or Website, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.
According to the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Rules made thereunder, including the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011, all matrimonial users are mandated by the government to submit their identity documents to mitigate fraud and prevent misuse of information.
Fees once paid will not be refunded (if you wish to register as a paid member).
By using this App or Website, you acknowledge that the match search results displayed by the App or Website are derived from the partner preferences you provided in your profile.
Users seeking divorcee alliances must provide a Judgement/Decree/Khula/Talaq. However, JMS Lifespaces Private Limited is not responsible for any kind of misrepresentation or the genuineness of the Judgement/Decree/Khula/Talaq.
If the details submitted by the parents, candidate, or reference person are not verified using the provided telephone number, profiles will be deactivated.
All paid registrations remain valid based on the selected package; however, re-registration must be completed within 30 days of the expiration date. Re-registration beyond this period will be considered a new registration.
Duplicate profile registrations of the same person or member will result in suspension or termination without prior notice.
If JanataMatrimony becomes aware, through direct knowledge or information from a third party, or has reason to believe that any information provided by a member (including photos) during registration or otherwise is untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete, appropriate actions may be taken.
JanataMatrimony reserves the right to suspend, block, or terminate the membership of individuals without prior notice, forfeiting any membership fees paid, and may refuse further services to the member thereafter.
4.User Accounts & Responsibilities: We expect honesty in completing the account registration process, providing truthful, accurate, updated, and complete information along with current photos of yourself.
You agree to be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account, including unauthorized access.
Registered users are responsible for promptly reporting any fraudulent activity, including but not limited to misrepresentation, scams, or suspicious behaviour, to the app administrators.
Users should report any suspicious or fraudulent activity observed on the platform to the app administrators immediately. Additionally, users are encouraged to contact relevant law enforcement agencies to report serious cases of fraud or misconduct.
Users are prohibited from displaying, uploading, modifying, publishing, transmitting, storing, updating, or sharing any information that belongs to another person and to which the user does not possess any right.
Users are prohibited from posting any content that threatens the unity, integrity, defense, security, or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, public order, or causes incitement to the commission of any cognizable offence, prevents investigation of any offence, or insults another nation.
5.Content: You are solely responsible for what you submit, post, or upload to the App or Website and agree not to provide any content that is illegal, offensive, discriminatory, or violates third-party rights; JanataMatrimony reserves the right to remove such content.
6.Use of the App and Website: You agree to use the App and Website only for lawful purposes, refrain from harming, harassing, or threatening others, avoid collecting or storing personal information about other users without their consent, and refrain from interfering with the operation of the App or Website.
7.Payment Gateway: The company uses third-party payment gateways for processing payments on its platform and commits to promptly informing users of any issues or failures with these gateways. It clarifies that any additional currency conversion charges, deductions, or errors arising from these third-party payment gateways are outside its responsibility.
8.Disclaimer: JanataMatrimony provides the App and Website and its content “as is,” without any warranties, whether express or implied. The company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or security of the App, Website, or their content, and it does not verify the accuracy of user-provided content, including profiles and messages. JanataMatrimony disclaims responsibility for any issues related to telephone networks, computer systems, servers, or software, including but not limited to technical malfunctions, traffic congestion, or damages to users’ devices arising from the use of the JanataMatrimony service.
JanataMatrimony endeavours to provide quality matchmaking services. However, the success of finding a match depends on various factors beyond our control, including but not limited to user preferences, compatibility, and individual circumstances. While we make every effort to facilitate meaningful connections, we cannot guarantee that every user will find a suitable match through our platform.
9.Limitation of Liability: JanataMatrimony will not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the App or Website, including but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
10.Termination: JanataMatrimony reserves the right to terminate your access to the App or Website at any time and for any reason, with or without notice.
11.Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
12.Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with proceedings conducted in Kalaburagi (Gulbarga), Karnataka, India only.
13.Entire Agreement: These Terms represent the complete agreement between you and JanataMatrimony concerning your utilization of the App and Website.
14.Updates to Terms & Conditions: JanataMatrimony reserves the right to update these Terms at any time by posting the updated Terms on the App and Website. Your continued use of the App or Website after the posting of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
15.Duplicate Payment: If a member makes a duplicate payment, they are required to inform the JanataMatrimony office. Based on the information, one payment will be used to activate the selected membership. The duplicate payment will be refunded within 7 working days. The refunded amount will be credited automatically to the member’s bank account or credit card. The exact timeline for the refund to appear in the member’s account depends on the procedures of the bank or credit card issuer.
16.Declaration: Please note that the JanataMatrimony Website/App is dedicated exclusively to matrimonial purposes and is not intended for dating. Users are strictly prohibited from posting any obscene material. Any inappropriate content posted on the platform may result in the permanent deletion of the associated profile.

18.Grievance Officer / Grievance Redressal Mechanism: Any complaints, abuse, or concerns with regards to content and/or comments or breaches of these terms shall be immediately informed to the designated Grievance Officer as mentioned below via writing or through email signed with an electronic signature.

19.Feedback and Complaints: If you contact us to provide feedback, register a complaint, or ask a question, we will record any personal information and other content that you provide in your communication so that we can effectively respond to your communication. Any complaints or concerns in relation to your personal information or content of this Website/App or any dispute or breach of confidentiality or any proprietary rights of users during the use of the Website/App or any intellectual property of any user should be immediately informed to the designated Grievance Officer.
20. I hereby voluntarily consent to provide my Aadhaar details for the purpose of Aadhaar Offline KYC as per the regulations of the Unique Identification Autority of India(UIDAI). I understand that my Aadhaar details will be used solely for identity verification purposes and will not be stored or shared with any unauthorized entities. I confirm that I have read and understood the terms and conditions associated with this process.
